This guide explains step by step how to obtain the OID (Organisation ID) and PIC (Participant Identification Code) numbers required to apply for Erasmus+ projects.

1. Creating an EU Login Account

To operate on European Commission platforms, you must have an EU Login account.

Visit: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/cas/eim/external/register.cgi

Register with a valid email address.

Activate your account using the confirmation link sent to your email.

2. Obtaining an OID via the Organisation Registration System (ORS)

Visit: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/erasmus-esc/organisation-registration

Log in with your EU Login credentials.

Complete the organisation information form fully:

Organisation name, address, and contact information

Legal status and founding date

Tax/VAT identification number (if applicable)

After submitting your entries, the system will automatically assign you an OID number.

3. PIC Number

Once you obtain an OID, a PIC number is also assigned through the same system. If you are applying for H2020 or Horizon Europe projects, the PIC number is also used in those applications.

4. Required Documents

During the organisation registration process, you may be asked to upload the following documents:

Certificate of Incorporation (PDF)

Tax Certificate or equivalent official document

Authorisation document for the organisation’s legal representative
